Volunteer Days, Farm Tours & Field Trips
Weekly Volunteer Days!
Join us Wednesday mornings, between 8am- 12 pm, from October to June to help us plant, harvest, weed, seed and much more! Email or call before you make your first trip out to the farm and we will share directions to our site. Please bring water, a hat, and any desired provisions for a morning on the farm. We love to send volunteers home with a share of the harvest, which varies throughout the season.
We offer work- trade positions on the farm for folks interested in making a weekly commitment to join us for a full morning of work. In exchange, we send you home with a generous share of the harvest (think CSA.) This is a great opportunity for anyone who wants to gain hands- on experience and instruction or for someone who wants to enjoy the therapeutic nature of hard work in the elements!
Volunteer Groups!
We often host volunteer groups on the farm, which can include a brief farm tour, tastings, and a closing reflection. Email or call us to schedule your group!
Field Trips!
Farm- based education has always been central to our work and we are excited to offer field trips throughout the season. With over twenty years of experience leading farm- based education programs, we can tailor experiences to meet the educational goals of the group. We offer field trips, farm tours and workshops for groups age preschool to college and beyond on a variety of topics.

Pricing— $60 per hour. Field trips are typically 2 hours.
We reserve a limited number of free field trips/ year for schools and community groups in SE Gainesville. Please call or email to discuss!
